Soldiers Beach offers a beautiful coastal backdrop for relaxed family, couple and portrait sessions, with sandy shores, ocean views and waves adding movement to your photos.
Setting
An open beach setting with plenty of coastal character. It’s a lovely choice for barefoot portraits, candid family moments and photographs beside the water.
Preferred lighting conditions
Early morning or late afternoon are my preferred times, when the light is softer. The beach is exposed, so wind and bright sunshine can affect conditions. We’ll choose a suitable time and spot based on the weather and your session.
Access considerations
There are two parking options: Soldiers Beach Surf Club and Soldiers Point. To reach Soldiers Point, turn left at the roundabout before the surf club.
We’ll confirm the best meeting point before your session. Beach portraits involve walking on sand, so please let me know if anyone in your group has mobility needs or finds uneven ground difficult. We can discuss the most suitable access point or another location.
